Abrasive Belts

Abrasive belts are frequently used to eliminate imperfections that may occur during sectioning processes, including edges, scales, and burrs. These belts are made with X-weight cloth, known for their exceptional durability. They have a strong backing material that withstands the pressure and friction of abrasive applications without premature tearing or wear.

  • Silicon carbide: Silicon carbide belts are recommended for hard materials such as ceramics and non-ferrous metals. Depending on specific requirements, they can be used for wet and dry operations.
  • Aluminum oxide: Aluminum oxide belts are usually recommended for ferrous materials. Depending on specific requirements, they can be used for wet or dry operations.
  • Zirconium alumina: These zirconium alumina belts are recommended for high-pressure grinding hard metals and stainless steel and have good heat.
