Technovit EPOX© is a versatile epoxy resin system that consists of the Epox resin component and two hardener options: EPOX Hardener Fast, which has a shorter curing time, and EPOX Hardener Regular, which has an extended curing time. Choosing the appropriate hardener component allows you to easily adjust the curing time to suit your application’s requirements. When applied under vacuum or pressure vessel systems, a polymerization time of one hour ensures thorough infiltration of porous materials.
This system is suitable for various material types but is particularly recommended for porous materials that need embedding under vacuum or pressure. The epoxy resin can penetrate all crevices using vacuum impregnation or a pressure vessel, ensuring complete polymerization. To get the best results, use a mixing ratio of 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener.
If flexibility is needed during processing, the polymerization time can be adjusted by storing the mounted sample in a cold-water bath or refrigerator. This feature enables the tailoring of the polymerization time.

Technovit 4000© is a system consisting of three components: powder, syrup 1, and syrup 2. The system is based on a modified polyester that cures quickly. One of the notable features of Technovit 4000© is its minimal polymerizing shrinkage, which reduces the possibility of distortion or damage to embedded samples during the curing process.

This system has been engineered with a modified polyester base, making it highly flexible and capable of conforming to the contours of embedded samples. This ensures precise embedding with minimal gaps. The fluidity of Technovit 4000© allows for the embedding of samples with porous surfaces, small gaps, blind holes, or undercuts, providing thorough coverage and penetration into intricate details.

Technovit 4000© has excellent flow characteristics that can enhance the polymerization process through vacuum impregnation/pressure vessel techniques. Vacuum impregnation eliminates air bubbles from the embedding material, while pressure aids in consolidating the material for complete curing.

**Additional fees are incurred for handling hazardous materials.
